The RVSF was established in 1964 to “solicit, collect and otherwise raise money for charitable and benevolent purposes: to receive, invest, deposit and from said funds to apply both the income and principal thereof to provide advanced education scholarships and financial aid to graduating seniors in the High School, Rondout Valley Central School District, of the towns of Marbletown, Rochester, Rosendale and Wawarsing”.
